Fisher houses on Great Eastern Road Portessie, taken from a rock in the bay. Portessie was once a thriving fishing village. Now, along with other fishing villages in the area, it is part of the larger town of Buckie. All that remains of Portessie's fishing heritage, is the rusted ring in the rock where small boats would have been tied in the eighteenth and nineteenth century.

Those who know me well know that photography is a way of life for me. It is my passion, and has been since I was a child and used my parents' box camera to photograph cows in a field near our home in Scotland.
