The Kirk of St Nicholas in Aberdeen Scotland was designed by the architect James Gibbs (1682-1754.) It was built in 1755, but has some architectural detail preserved from the 11th century original church. It is known in Aberdeen as The Mither Kirk (mother church) of the city.

Those who know me well know that photography is a way of life for me.
